The Strauss Festival of Elk Grove is just around the corner, and it promises to be an unforgettable experience of romance, magic, and music. Held annually on the final Thursday through Sunday of July, this event is a highlight of the summer season in Elk Grove, California.
An Unforgettable Performance Each year, the Strauss Festival brings a new choreographed storyline set to the beautiful music of Johann Strauss and his family. The performances are masterfully conducted by Sacramento’s own Paolo Reyes, whose impressive background includes a Masters of Music Degree in Orchestral Conducting from Sacramento State and numerous conducting roles with the Camellia Symphony Orchestra and Citywater. Reyes’s passion and expertise shine through in every performance, ensuring a magical evening for all attendees.
The Perfect Setting The festival takes place at Elk Grove Regional Park’s Strauss Island, where audiences can relax on a grassy knoll by the lake. The setting is truly idyllic, with warm evening breezes and the gentle reflection of lights on the water creating an enchanting atmosphere. The presence of resident ducks adds a touch of whimsy to the evening.
